Will I get notification when a reserved book is available?

If I request a book from Summit or put a title on hold, will I get notified when it is available?

Answer

All notifications regarding your account, including reserved book availability, will be sent to your wallawalla.edu email for faculty, staff, and students. This includes Summit requests, Interlibrary loans from non-Summit libraries, or holds or off-site requests for local titles. If you are expecting something and it is taking longer than anticipated check your spam filters to make certain it didn't go astray.

You may also chose to check the availability of an item using your library account. Logging in with your WWU ID and password will allow you to see items that are checked out, and items that are on hold, including whether Summit items have been shipped, or if they are received.
