What if I lost a book?
What happens if I lost a book I checked out from WWU Libraries?
Answer
A borrowed item more than ten days* overdue will automatically be moved into a lost status by our system and a lost fee plus an additional non-refundable $15 service fee will be applied. Fees for lost items will include the service fee, plus applicable replacement fees which will vary depending upon the type of item and where it is borrowed from. *The system automatically declares projectors as lost if the loan is five days overdue.
