How do I pick up or check out my book?

How do I know when a requested book, such as a hold or Summit title, is available to pick up from the library and how do I pick it up?

Answer

Walla Walla University Library collections are available to browse during library open hours. To check-out a circulating title from Main Stacks, use the location and call number to find the book on the shelf then take it to the Library Information Desk.

To request a hold, an item from off-site, or a Summit title you must first log into your library account in Research Central and use links under 'get it' to request the item.

When you have requested an item either from Summit or a local hold, you will get an email when it is available to pick-up. In general you may pick up your items at the Library Information Desk during open library hours. If you have requested something and not received your email, check junk or clutter boxes in your email in case it has been redirected.

Contact libcirc@wallawalla.edu with questions regarding pick-up.
