How do I make an appointment with a librarian or access librarian support?

Librarian assistance is available in Peterson Memorial Library and online via Teams. Drop-in hours, and scheduled appointments are both available.

Answer

Faculty librarians are available to help you learn how to use the library databases, troubleshoot your topics, and find peer-reviewed and academic articles or other sources for your classwork and assignments.

On the College Place campus, drop in reference assistance is generally available without an appointment between 1:30 - 4:30 in the afternoon Monday thru Thursday.

For all campuses including distance students, reference and research assistance is available online via chat, Teams or by emailing a librarian. Students may schedule a Teams appointment or schedule a face-to-face appointment for reference assistance in Peterson Memorial Library. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

If you have questions about items on your library account or want to explore return options, you may contact Public Services at LibCirc@wallawalla.edu.
