How do I find out what is on reserve for a class?

What are reserves and where are reserves located? Professors specifically select items (books, DVDs, study guides and other materials) for their class to use and put the materials on Reserve at the Library Information Desk.

Answer

Professors specifically select items (books, DVDs, study guides and other materials) for their class to use and put the materials on Reserve. This guarantees that all students in the class can have access. Your Instructor will choose the checkout time period, which can vary from four hours to seven days. Occasionally, your instructor will specify that the items need to stay in the library.

The reserve collection is located at the Library Information Desk in the Library Lobby on the Green Level. Check with the Library Information Desk for availability and check out options.
