How do I renew WWU Library or Summit Books?
I need to know when my WWU Library and Summit books are due and possibly renew them, how do I do this?
Answer
Renew Online:
Check your account from any computer on or off campus to see when your items (WWU Library, Summit items, and Interlibrary Loan) are due and see what items are on your account.
- Login to your library account.
- Current students, staff, and faculty: Use WWU Student, Faculty, & Staff Login
- Alumni, community members, and Summit visiting patrons: Use Other Library Card Login
- Enter your username and password
- Current loans are listed in "LOANS" section
- Renew specific loans or select the "Renew all" option at the top of the page to renew all WWU Library and Summit items together.
Generally an item will be renewed for the same amount of time as the original loan period but account expiration dates may limit renewal periods.
Summit items can also be renewed one time using the procedures listed above.
End of the quarter?
Student expiration dates are set for the end of the current quarter. If you are enrolled for the upcoming quarter and would like to keep your books over break, email Public Services or contact them at the Library Information Desk.
Interlibrary Loan Renewals
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) items may be eligible for renewal on a case by case basis (please email the Interlibrary Loan Department to request a renewal for an ILL item).
Renew in person
Stop by the Library Information Desk during business hours. You may also call (509-527-2134) or email Public Services.
Return Books
If you have library materials the outdoor book return is available 24/7 on the College Place campus. If you are off campus and have library materials, you may ship them to: Walla Walla University Libraries, 104 S. College Ave., College Place, WA 99324.
