How do I request a LibGuide for my class?
I am a teaching faculty at WWU and would like to have a customized course website/LibGuide for my class to help with information literacy. How do I request one?
Answer
LibGuides for a specific course assignment are available. Librarians can provide:
- Material that supports and enriches the course content conveniently located in one place.
- Links to full text articles taken from library databases.
- Citations to articles held in print in the Periodicals Department. Students may take the citations from the web site and then find the article in the Periodicals Department.
- Books and quality web sites. Feel free to examine web sites currently supporting courses.
To request a customized web site for your course, use the link below, and email your course syllabus/assignment to Christy Scott one month in advance of when the assignment is needed.
