Does the library subscribe to journal of .... ?
Answer
Sometimes your Instructor will tell you to read an article in a particular journal. Or you may just want to browse the journals available in your area of study. The library's Full Text Finder list:
- allows you to search for a specific title
- helps you browse journals by subject
To search for a specific journal:
Start with the 'Search' and type in the title of the journal. Be careful to put the exact title.
To search for journals on a particular subject:
Use the browse by discipline feature on the main page of Full Text Finder. Continue searching within the subject until you find the one you want and click on it. Journals within that subject area will appear in a results list.
To search for articles on a topic:
You will have the best luck searching a database like Academic Search Premier with keywords on your topic rather than searching for a specific journal.
